Murcia Airport?
The airport has been extended in 2007 but has only about 18 check-in desks so its
easy to find your way through. Once you have your car remember to drive
on the wrong side of the road as everyone else does. It's about 35 km (22 mile) to the property. Once out of the airport grounds go straight ahead until you see the blue motorway signs
labelled AP7 and Alicante. Once on the motorway its 120 km/hr speed
limit and the toll fee varies throughout the year from 1.50 up to 2.95
Euro. Watch for the toll gate after about 10 minutes and choose a lane
with a "mans head" above it for personal attention and change. If you have
the correct money you can use the auto toll but dont take the one with
the credit card above (it might be ok but I've never tried it). Shortly
after the toll you will see a sign for Torrevieja Sur and Orihuela (junction 758). Take this slip road onto the roundabout, then turn right towards
Torrevieja on the CV95. Watch the speed bumps which are regularly spaced all
along the road. At the fourth roundabout turn right towards Los Altos, there is a Repsol garage at the roundabout (at the moment there is also a big billboard for Los Altos). Drive about half a
mile to a T junction - there's an enormous building site ahead of you. Turn right again and up the hill to the roundabout. From the roundabout keep to the right and go straight ahead to the Consum supermarket, turn left. Drive downhill to the big red wall and turn left at the end (its supposed to be one-way but other drivers dont always take notice). 21 La Cinuelica, Our house is on the right and opposite the long red coloured wall.
This is the road you will drive down = = >
